THE ADVENTURE 

 

A spectacular hike through the Surrey Hills, taking in the three highest peaks in Surrey (Holmbury Hill, Leith Hill and Box Hill).

 

You'll be guided all the way by a friendly local guide and you'll get to experience some of the finest viewpoints in the south east of England. 

 

Lovely snacks and hot drinks will be provided as well as a dedicated guiding and support team.

 

Perfect for both individuals and small groups looking to experience the wonders close to London on an exciting, challenging and achievable local adventure.

Holmwood Station

END POINT

Box Hill & Westhumble Station

 

If you have parked at Holmwood Station, it is a short train (10 min) ride back from Box Hill & Westhumble Station.

 

DURATION

 

7 – 9 hours (we will hike at a pace that is appropriate for all of the group).

WHAT SHOULD YOU TO BRING?

  • Comfortable clothes to hike in

  • Walking shoes (broken-in) recommended 

  • Your own packed lunch 

  • Small rucksack to hold your clothes, water and snacks 

  • Waterproof jacket and warm fleece

  • Warm hat 

  • At least 2 litres capacity to carry water 

  • Personal hand sanitiser 

  • A big smile

HOW HARD IS IT?

This is a challenging but do-able hike. You should have a good level of fitness and be able to walk continuously for several hours.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO STOP?

No problem, our friendly team will drop you back at either a train station or if late a place that you can rest in peace.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Our leaders and all professional Mountain Guides with first aid qualifications and full insurance. We will ask all participants to fill in a short health and safety form where you must make us aware of any pre-existing conditions or food allergies in advance of the trip.  

 

COVID-19 POLICY

 

The trip will operate under the latest Covid-19 guidelines on social distancing and safety. This will mean equipment and food prepared to a safe standard and social distancing guidelines enacted on. We reserve the right to remove anyone from a trip if the requests of group leaders are persistently ignored. 

REFUND POLICY

Your ticket is fully refundable in the case of a cancellation caused by Covid19. If the organiser cancels due to force majeure or factors outside of our control (such as a lightning storm), you are entitled to a 50% refund or an equivalent voucher to use on a future trip.

If you decide to cancel your booking, a full refund is given up to 30 days prior to the trip running. If it falls within 30 days of a trip running, we unfortunately are not able to refund customers due to the small group sizes and high upfront costs of running these trips.
You have a 48 hour cooling off period to request a full refund should a booking be made in error.
