These last few weeks we’ve turned into a bunch of dreamers with a press up schedule.
But if you’re anything like us (and we know you are) then you’re sitting out these bizarre days with an ever increasing list of “things I plan to do post lockdown”.
And if our recent adventure survey was anything to go by, they range from the simple to the life changing.
Here at WildBase HQ we like a good list and therefore, we’ve come up with our own Top 10 list of “post lockdown adventures”

Mixing the little and slightly bigger journeys with the aim of exploring the UK and places close to home by river, old trails, country roads and tidal estuaries. This will be combined with finding my own green space – something I think we all have a much bigger appreciation for.
Hike the length of the 2000 year old Hadrian's Wall (4 days)
Join a guided walk along Britain’s most dangerous path: the Broomway (1 day)
Run the Peddars Way, an ancient 49 mile path through East Anglia (1 day)
Kayak down the river Wey in Sussex (4 days)
Cycle the Chilterns cycleway mooching through beautiful countryside (2 days)
Swim to a river island on the Thames and sleep on it (1 day)
A weekend rambling around the unspoilt Lincolnshire Wolds AONB (2 days)
Wild camp on a Sussex hill for the Summer solstice (1 day)

Initially it will be simple pleasures. Cycling without restriction. Picnics in the countryside and by the rivers. But having recently moved to Madrid I’ve had to put exploring the Iberian peninsula on hold so, once we get the green light I plan to go deep.
Lisbon to Seville bike ride (7 days)
Cycle into Sierra de Guadarrama without restriction (as long as I want)
